Hi to All,
In your life, have you ever experienced that your prayer is answered instantly? Or how does it feel when your prayer is heard and answered as fast as a snap of your finger? This is what I am going to share here. This happened in a couple of days ago. My prayer is mainly about making a decision and God's leading is what I have asked. Since I joined this site, I have met a lot of people. Established friendship, getting to know each other deeper and sharing thoughts and words of encouragements. Some are nice and some are like seemingly nice. Time came that I should decide who among them I should choose. And to make such decision is very hard for me, considering the fears that are haunting me. One day, I talked to my friend asking for some help regarding this matter. I was enlightened by what she said. This is one of the many things that she said to me... Before making any decision especially in choosing a mate, I must consider the three important things that the Prophet Ellen G. White suggested in her book entitled "Adventist Home." The same night, I prayed to God asking for His total guidance. I poured everything to God. I told Him how my feeling about the guy that I really like. I even asked some signs from Him. I prayed like a little child begging to her Father.
Eventually, the next day....the sign that I have asked was given. Wow! That amazed me. Really wonderful. So then, I decided to choose the guy. We have just started to have a wonderful relationship. We have plans but yeah, those plans are still under God's approval. Prayer, open communication, understanding, patience, compatibility, a forgiving heart, honesty, commitment ...etc.. are just some of the important elements in a relationship.
I wanna share this passage to you from the book of Proverbs 16:9,"Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed."
I believe that if we will make God as the center of our lives.... blessings will follow! God Bless Us All!
In Christ's Name,
