F.Y.I. Just wanted the family to know how serious scamming really is. I'm not sure if everyone is aware of Mary Winkler. She's the woman who
recently made national headlines for shooting her husband, who was a pastor-killing him- and then taking off with their 3 daughters. Mrs. Winkler was a victim of Nigerian scams. She cashed altered checks at the bank and by the time the altered checks were discovered by the bank, the money was already sent back to the scammers and she was held liable for THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. It didn't take long to be discovered. Her husband found out about her "irresponsibility" concerning the finances. Shortly thereafter he was killed.
**Nannette has reiterated warning many times. DO NOT BELIEVE THE LIES. THEY'RE NOT SENDING AUTHENTIC CHECKS/MONEY ORDERS. If their country can grant them checks..why can't they cash the checks? And what's going on in you, that YOU believe their crap?! If you want to be helpful go thru a verified charity. Become partners with a church...donate to the Red Cross. Please! these scammers think you're idiots plain & simple. They butter you up and if you're lonely, vulnerable OR gullible you'll fall for it hook, line and sinker. I've made it my mission to expose every piece of false information to anyone who'll listen. This is not the only website i'm helping. Not all people are bad, but please understand...THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO PREY UPON CHRISTIANS. And if you see they're trying to get you off of the christian website to have a private chat during the 1st conversation be cautious!! and they ALWAYS want to talk mostly thru yahoo.co.uk or a yahoo address. They assume you have a yahoo address too. How do they know you have yahoo? (not everyone does) If you ask them questions they become defensive...and there's ALWAYS A TRAGEDY. They're an orphan, mama died during childbirth, father died in a car crash, father left them (whose hasn't, cry me a river), usually the men are WIDOWED, AND self employed (how convenient). SOMEONE IS ALWAYS DEAD. CHALLENGE THEM. Don't be scared to ASK questions...and if it doesn't bear witness in your spirit...IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY'RE LYING THRU THEIR TEETH! This is nothing but an acting gig for them. They can quote scriptures better than you, but the difference is ...YOU ALL SHOULD HAVE SPIRIT OF DISCERNMENT. if you USE IT, you'll know they're lying. These people do not have holy ghost..that's why they can lie with no conscious. Doesn't it seem odd that someone is 5'1 and 35 lbs? or how can you be 6'4 and weigh 100 lbs? doesn't that seem strange. Look at the scammer below who CLEARLY SAID HE HAD BROWN HAIR, but his hair's white as snow in the pic. You have to pay attention. However, if you're desperate, lonely, low self esteem their emails will be music to your ears. I promise you, they've cut/pasted the same exact words to 50 other people...you're not special (not to them), ask Nannette or Larry. At another site a WOMAN sent me an email..she wanted talk on YAHOO...so she can send me a pic, and we can talk private. I addressed her directly as SCAMMER--I then said: i'm not as stupid as you think i am. I don't have anythign to say to a woman in private...and i could care less how you look cuz 1)I'm not interested and 2) you're not using a real pic anyway. don't you ever contact me again scammer, or your feelings will get hurt..but not only that i'm reporting you for the true SCAMMER THAT YOU ARE.
I've had enough experience wiht scammers, that usually i can spot them a mile away. I've mistaken some as scammers and i've asked for forgiveness...but 95% of the time..it's on the mark. I'm sharing this because I love you all and i don't want my family to be victimized. I don't want any of us to be ignorant. PLEASE PLEASE be careful. If the IP doesn't match where they say they're from...send the profile to Nannette/larry..if they're still on the site you know you made a mistake. No biggie. Better safe than sorry. That IP tracker is a lifesaver!!
Sorry I was long winded but I just wanted to make you all aware. AND PLEASE PASS THIS ON to your friends and family who may use christian dating sites. Scammers ARE ON EVERY CHRISTIAN SITE.

He has GOLDEN BROWN HAIR?! Do they not look at the pics before they post? come on! how dense do they really think we are, Nannette?! I'm totally insulted!

He claims to be from New York but is really calling from the UK. He claims to be 30 years old with golden brown hair.
He is an: "business entreprenue" with a Master's degree.
In his comments he uses the typical scammer ploy of traveling abroad to Africa, which ultimately will explain why you need to send cash to Africa or cash a check from Africa for him:
"Job, Career & Education: I am an entreprenue who is into procurement of art African art works and artifacts.Which makes me travel from time to time to buy and sell the products being bought.isome times love taking model shots for myself to keep so i change hair styles with time-some of my folks say that makes me look younger-but i don't think so.I a graduduate with my master's degree and that makes me feel it's better to work on my own than to work under an organization....I am about to build up an N.G.O to help the needy and disabled too."
"My Description: I am abit toned..will not say slim...5ft11...hazel eyes and golden brown hair but change my hair style with time.Fun loving and simple.I speak English and some african languages cause of communication for my type of business.i am a very funny person,understanding and love to care for people around me.Just like my African coligues call me-Happy man-But i just have to be happy.For there's no reason to be sad in God's name."
Be careful and prayerful and learn to spot the scammers.
