Hello single sister in Christ!
I truly understand how you feel. I am in my early thirties and have been a bridesmaid too many times.Yes in saved and unsaved weddings. Of my close circle of friends I am the only one who is still unmarried and childless and I have often been the butt of many jokes. But gradually, as painful as it is I am beginnig to see that God has a perfect plan. I don't often understand how God works. but if I am honest I have to admit that he has come through for me many times. Therefore, as slow as it has been. He will come through on this one as well! He is able! He is faithful and true! Please don't give up!. Look at some of the examples on this site. Sometimes it took four years on this site before they were sucessful. Also sometimes we unknowingly make an idol of the things that we desperately desire. God wants to be number one in our lives. I know that this statement often annoys me when other married people say this to me, because it is possible to be married and make God number one in your life. But what I am trying to say, is that sometimes as singles we get really hung up about being single and obsess about it. As a woman I know this is often because of our ticking biological clocks. But you are not all alone! I feel like you do some days as well! but how can we give up? How can we lose hope? Isn't our God allmighty and all powerfull??!!. My screen name is Caribgal. Praise The Lord! I am so discouraged , why are there so many single saved people? Why does God make some of us wait for such a long time struggling within our flesh anf seeing all of our friends marry even those that are not saved? I am really beginning to question God about my life and how I am getting older and and have yet to even date a Christian man. It seems as if there are no more good saved Holy Ghost men left in the world. Why does the vision tarry? Please pray for me me. I want a saved strong Godly man. I want him to be filled with the Holy Ghost tongue talking shouting jumpimg leaping praising God with all of his might. Am I asking for too much. I have witnessed God answer some of my prayers but when it comes to romance He never answers my prayers What is wrong with me? Why is God Holding out on me in the romance department? Please pray for me that I won/t give up. I want to know has anybody experienced what I am now going through?
